DTF Gang Sheets: Artwork & Ordering Guide | West Islip
Share
A DTF gang sheet places several artwork pieces on one sheet of printed transfer film. It is a practical option for apparel decorators and businesses that already have a heat press. A gang sheet is not a pack of finished T-shirts: you receive printed transfers to apply to suitable garments yourself.
47 Swag Co’s DTF gang sheet builder uses a fixed 22-inch width. The sheet starts at 24 inches long and extends as you add artwork, up to 360 inches. Review the calculated length and live price before saving the sheet to your cart.
Start with the intended print size
Decide how wide each design should print before arranging it. A front chest mark and a back design usually need separate sizes. Measure a comparable garment or use an approved placement guide; do not rely on how large a picture looks on your phone. Check the smallest lettering as well as the overall dimensions.
Check resolution and transparency
Use a high-resolution PNG with a genuinely transparent background when possible. For raster artwork, a useful preparation target is 300 pixels per inch at the final print size: a 12-inch-wide graphic would need 3,600 pixels across. Changing a file’s resolution label does not create missing detail. Enlarging a small screenshot can leave blurred lettering and rough edges.
A visible checkerboard baked into the image is not transparency. Check the file over both a light and dark background. Inspect edges for unwanted white borders, background rectangles, missing details and stray marks. If the file is unclear, ask us to review it before submitting the order.
Build and review the sheet
- Open the product and choose Build Your Gang Sheet.
- Upload your artwork and set each design’s intended dimensions.
- Arrange the required quantities inside the canvas without overlaps or clipping.
- Check that each design has enough separation to cut and handle.
- Review every name, number, quantity and print size.
- Review the final sheet length and price, then save the completed sheet to your cart.
Keep dark-garment and light-garment artwork clearly identified when a job uses different treatments. A white design intended for a black shirt may disappear on a white shirt. Do not assume that the printing process will redesign the artwork for a different garment color.
Before you press
A heat press is required. Follow the application instructions supplied for your transfer and confirm that the garment is compatible. Test an unfamiliar material before committing an entire order. Do not substitute a generic temperature or peel method from a different transfer supplier.
Local pickup or nationwide shipping
Local pickup is available in West Islip, NY, and Nationwide Shipping is available with applicable charges. Contact the shop to confirm production timing and shipping transit for your deadline. Do not assume that ordering online guarantees same-day pickup.
